Last night we fell to a close effort with the Kings as we had them at +2.5 against the Suns the same team the Rockets are going against. Houston is in a nice revenge spot and the Suns are in a tough 0 days rest coming off a road game last night. The Suns were in this situation just three times last year and they were 1-2 SU and ATS in that situation and are actually just 1-6 straight up on 0 days rest. The Suns the #1 team in the league in 3 point % are not the type of team you want playing on 0 days rest. A dead team with weak legs will struggle on 0 days rest it's just plain and simple.
Add in the fact that the Rockets are the #12 3point defense and that they are playing even better than that over their last 5 games I think Houston is ready to win with their perimeter speed and solid defense. Phoenix also cooled down as of late shooting 36.7% from beyond the arch in their last 5 games that's compared to their season average of 41%. They haven't exactly played the best 3 point defenses either including the Kings and the Grizzlies in the last two games who come in at #26 and #22. My guess is the Rockets want this game more and the dog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings as well as the road team going 14-6 ATS in the last 20 meetings.
